Training at the Tower

General Information

The Energy and Environment Cabinet (EEC), Public Protection Cabinet (PPC) and Labor GAPS offers training to all state government employees. Employees outside EEC and PPC are charged low rates per class. 
 
General Class Information 
  • Please contact your training coordinator or agency liaison to register in any of the classes at the Tower. 
  • Please contact the training coordinator or agency liaison to cancel an enrollment if needed. 
  • When the class reaches eight enrollees, you will receive a letter via Pathlore indicating when the class will be held and what your responsibilities are.
  • Manuals will be provided by TANDEM.
  • Classes meet on the 14th Floor of the Capital Plaza Tower, 500 Mero St., Frankfort, Ky., at GAPS/OIS.
  • Classes generally begin at 9 a.m.
  • Personnel who are more than 30 minutes late must reschedule the class.
  • Weather closures will be announced via WKYT 27 in Lexington and WHAS11 in Louisville.
