Office of Energy Policy
Continues to provide resources to general public, utilities, energy providers and other state agencies. Meetings with the public will be done via video conferencing. Direct inquires to energy@ky.gov
The Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves

The Public Service Commission
Documents required by 807 KAR 5:001, Section 7(1 ), and 807 KAR 5:063 may be filed with the Commission by electronic mail at PSCED@ky.gov.

Division for Air Quality
All inspections and investigations at facilities have resumed to normal operations. Inspectors will follow each respective facilities protocol on mask wearing and social distancing.
All offices are open to the public. Meetings with the public will still be done via video conferencing, teleconferencing, etc. In-person meetings will be conducted if required and should be scheduled with each respective Field Office prior to the meeting time. All public records exchanges will be completed electronically.
Division of Waste Management
All inspections and investigations at hazardous waste, solid waste, and underground storage tank facilities have resumed to normal operations. Inspectors will follow each respective facilities protocol on mask wearing and social distancing.

Division of Enforcement
Meetings with the public will be done via video conferencing.
The Division of Conservation
In-person assistance is not available at this time. Districts needing assistance can reach out to their assigned field representative or email Conservation@ky.gov
The Division of Forestry
All business and interactions are being conducted via phone or email. Requests to evaluate a landowner’s property will done by foresters obtaining information via phone or email, then conducting a solo site visit and conveying the results to the landowner via phone or email, along with a written management plan.
Suppression of wildfires will continue as the need arises. Firefighters will limit their interactions with landowners or the public as much as possible. If you need to report a wildfire, please contact a branch office or dial 911.
