Coal Facts was produced on an annual basis and includes comprehensive county profiles and information on prices, heat and ash content for every available year of production. As of 2022, the Office of Energy Policy no longer produces Coal Facts on an annual basis. Please refer to the Quarterly Coal Dashboard for current data on Kentucky's coal production and employment.
