The Division of Forestry is committed to teaching Kentucky's youth about the importance of well-managed forestlands through educational programming made available for classroom presentation, career days, field days and other events.  Program topics range from fire prevention and Smokey Bear appearances (K through Grade 2 only) to tree identification and forest ecology.

In addition to providing presentations about various forestry concepts, our staff is able to provide educators with materials and resources, to guide and instruct the forestry component of Kentucky Envirothon. Please refer to the quick links at the right for more information about these opportunities.
