Jobs and Volunteer Opportunities

KNP is always looking for a hand from people interested in nature. Help us fix trails, remove invasive plants, monitor rare species, or just keep an eye on your favorite natural areas.

Kentucky Nature License Plate

Purchase Nature Plates for your vehicle. Money from the sale of the plate goes into a fund for purchasing natural areas to be left as wild places held in trust for future generations.

Nature and Wildlife Fund

Financial assistance can be provided through a direct donation to the Nature Preserves Fund, a contribution to the Nature and Wildlife Fund on your state income tax form, or through a reduced-price sale or donation of a significant natural area.

Keith MacAdam Endowment

All proceeds are used for KNP trail improvement projects. To donate, visit the Blue Grass Community Foundation's website and select the Keith MacAdam Endowment for Kentucky Nature Preserves fund name.

Sherri Evans Memorial Fund

Donations to this fund are used to support research on state nature preserves for projects that benefit native plants and animals in memory of Sherri Evans.

KNP's "Natural Heritage of Kentucky" project on iNaturalist is a great way to tell us what species you've seen in Kentucky and learn a little about them.
