Compliance and Certification
The Environmental Compliance Assistance Program (ECAP) serves as Kentucky's Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP) and can help small businesses apply for air permits required for operation. ECAP is also available to answer your questions relating to air, water, and waste policies and regulatory requirements.
The Kentucky Operator Certification Program (OCP) offers education and certification exams to help ensure the people charged with dealing with community solid waste, drinking water, and wastewater are knowledgeable and capable of handling the responsibilities required of those positions.
