Reclamation Advisory Memoranda

Reclamation Advisory Memoranda

A Reclamation Advisory Memorandum (RAM) is open correspondence from the commissioner of the Department for Natural Resources that address various issues that have arisen as Kentucky’s regulatory program has evolved. New advisory memoranda may be added when necessary to add clarity for the regulated community and stakeholders. If there is a conflict between advisory memoranda, the most recent takes precedence.

The advisory memoranda on this page are those that remain active and remain applicable to Kentucky's surface mining regulatory program. The department has provided the original document and a conforming alternate version that meets the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. The alternate version contains the same information and functionality as the original. Alternate versions for active advisory memoranda will be added as they are available.

Obsolete advisory memoranda that are no longer applicable have been archived and will be maintained for reference, research, or recordkeeping only. These archived advisory memoranda may be found on the corresponding archive page at the link found on the right side of the page.
