Annual Report of the Operation of Mines
Pursuant to KRS 351.160, the Division of Mine Safety (DMS) produces an annual report that covers the complete operation of coal mines in the Commonwealth during the preceding calendar year. These reports provide a summary of coal mines in operation each year with the number of accidents, the number of persons employed, and the amount of coal mined for each.
The 2025 Annual Report will be posted later within the year.
