DOW partners with the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education to provide water education through curriculum developed by The Project WET Foundation (PWF). Project WET's goal is to provide scientifically accurate and educationally sound water resources education materials, training courses, and networking services to citizens, organizations, governments and corporations.
The VLMP trains citizen scientists to monitor lake health in order to help us understand and protect this vital resource.
Watershed Watch offers training to citizens interested in water quality. Volunteers are trained on how to take a qualified water sample that is analyzed by professional labs, and learn how to monitor basic water chemistry and assess stream biology and habitat.
