Land, Air & Water

Sharing success through story. 

Land, Air & Water is a webzine published by the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet for state residents. Protecting our native ecosystems, reintroducing an endangered native orchid or celebrating conservation efforts with our partners, this is where you get a boots-on-the-ground exclusive.  The content is produced by cabinet employees and is intended to explain and celebrate the important work of the cabinet as it safeguards the health and welfare of Kentucky’s people, environment and natural resources.​

Since the historic flooding of July 2022, Team Kentucky has been developing High Ground communities outside the floodplain. Take a look at the progress we've made.​​​​​

​​This deeply moving documentary combines amazing archival footage and retrospective interviews to illuminate the heroic efforts of rescue and recovery performed by grassroots efforts and the phenomenal response of the team headed by beloved governor Andy Beshear during a devastating Kentucky flood.
