Thank you for joining us February 25-27, 2025 for the inaugural Kentucky Solid Waste, Recycling, and Sustainability Conference.

This year's program featured expert speakers on a variety of important topics, including PFAS contamination, innovative landfill gas capture techniques, and household hazardous waste management. Attendees engaged in discussions about improving municipal recycling infrastructure, tackling hard-to-recycle items, and implementing effective tire management practices. The conference also highlighted the benefits of composting and sustainable waste management education, while addressing critical issues such as environmental justice, litter impacts on wildlife and waterways, and the challenges posed by microplastics.

If you would like access to a speaker’s presentation slides, please reach out via email to Sierra McComas. A member of our team will contact the presenter to request permission before sharing any materials.
