This site is an environmental education demonstration area focusing on native warm-season grass restoration. The field was seeded to big bluestem, Indiangrass, little bluestem, and switchgrass, which is managed through prescribed burning and other techniques.


Access:

Open dawn to dusk for passive recreation only and there are no trails for public access.  In addition, visitors should be aware the property borders the local sportsman club’s shooting range and should avoid access during times when there are active shooting events. Located off Kentucky Ave or Bishop Lane, Irvington.
