Volunteers from across Kentucky are set to fill trash bags and pick up old tires March 22-28, 2020 during the 22nd Commonwealth Cleanup Week.

Civic, religious and nonprofit organizations can enter to win six separate $100 prizes in a random drawing. To be eligible, organizations must register through their local solid waste coordinator and complete a cleanup project during the week of March 22-28. Download the 2020 Commonwealth Cleanup Week announcement, contest group participation and county cumulative reporting forms in 2020 CCWpromotionpackage.doc or 2020 CCWpromotionpackage.pdf formats.

Tell us about your planned cleanup event.

The 1998 Kentucky General Assembly (House Joint Resolution 121) designated the fourth week in March as an opportunity for Kentuckians to participate in "activities that highlight the natural beauty of their communities."
