401 Water Quality Certifications for Coal Mining
DNR reviews and issues Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certifications associated with surface coal mining activities (refer to Advisory Notice 07-01). Public notices for 401 Water Quality Certifications issued by DNR are posted below. The Division of Mine Permits is accepting public comment on the applications listed below for 30 days from the public notice publish date. All comments should be submitted to the contact person by the public notice closing date (midnight). Please include the WQC number in all correspondence.
