The duties of the Office of Reclamation Guaranty Fund include:
- Drafting regulations
- Assessing and collecting tonnage and other necessary fees
- Scheduling and completing audits and actuarial studies to assess the financial viability of the fund annually
- Assessing penalties for permittees as necessary
- Providing reports to the governor and the Kentucky Legislature
In addition, the ORGF is charged with regulating and administering the assets, obligations and liabilities of the former Kentucky Bond Pool Fund.
