The Explosives and Blasting Branch has reviewed their past years of regulatory work and has compiled lists of training suggestions to be used in developing training programs that will effectively address the most prevalent needs in Kentucky’s blasting industry today.

We have listed the most problematic issues and the ones that we have found to most consistently plague blasting professionals in Kentucky.

The information from all documents is to be covered during the training sessions. These are not intended to be a complete training course; only topics to be covered during one section of the training (i.e. one hour to cover Explosives and Blasting Branch training suggestions).
